We are proud to expand our successful collaboration with Ystad Energi by enabling the full rollout of dLabs’ intelligent platform, dInsight Analytics Platform, in their primary substations. The platform allows intelligent monitoring of their entire power grid and will further enhance the reliability of Ystad Energi’s power distribution.
Our collaboration with Ystad Energi was initially established in 2022, focusing on utilizing dLab’s dInsight Analytics Platform to gain valuable insights of their grid. The successful installation of the system at a primary substation station in December 2022 marked a major milestone. In less than a year since its installation, Ystad Energi has made the strategic decision to activate the full rollout of the system. This demonstrates Ystad Energi’s commitment to advancing the digitalization and automation of their power grid—a crucial step toward a sustainable future.
Joakim Andersson, Power grid manager at Ystad Energi, emphasized the value of having dLab’s equipment in all primary substations:
“Since implementing the dLab system, we have successfully uncovered previously unknown disturbances, specifically related to the connection of electric vehicles in our grid. These disturbances can potentially cause harmful wear and tear on our infrastructure, ultimately leading to power outages.
We also see significant value in having dLab’s equipment in all primary substations, as it’s only then twe get a complete overview of our entire power grid.”
