To rely on the data generated by an installation, both its hardware and software need to perform as intended. That’s why dLab carries out ongoing preventive maintenance for its customers.

This summer, our Delivery Manager Andreas visited Kraftringen to carry out scheduled maintenance on their installation of dLab’s intelligent analytics platform. The platform transforms complex grid data into actionable insights in real time, helping Kraftringen make better decisions and plan maintenance proactively.

During the visit, both hardware and software were serviced. The aim is to ensure stable operation and that the platform continues to deliver accurate and reliable data – around the clock, every day of the year.

A service agreement frees up time for other priorities

A service agreement with dLab covers both preventive and reactive maintenance, providing grid operators with more secure and reliable operation of their installations.

The agreement may include:

• Scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure safe and stable operation of the installation.
• Remote monitoring of installed equipment and communications to quickly detect potential issues.
• Annual system reviews to ensure that signals are measured and transmitted correctly.
• Regular inspection, cleaning and updates of hardware and software components.
• Rapid troubleshooting in the event of operational issues, including diagnostics and clear recommendations for corrective action.
• Measures to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
• Support with data analysis and complex grid issues.

A long-standing partnership

Kraftringen is one of dLab’s longest-standing and most active customers. The partnership began in 2013 and has continued to develop over the years. Today, dLab’s solution covers approximately 90% of Kraftringen’s customers, and the system is also integrated with other decision-support systems.
