In August 2025, dLab’s system registered recurring earth faults on a feeder in Östra Kinds Elkraft’s grid. The feeder has 309 connection points and supplies both industry and households with electricity.
Thanks to the early indication, Östra Kinds Elkraft was able to calmly in planned conditions isolate a smaller section of the grid and send out technicians for inspection. On-site, the technicians heard a suspicious sound from a disconnector, and upon closer examination discovered carbon tracks inside the chamber – a clear sign of an incipient fault.

Without dLab’s system, the protection relays would eventually have tripped, which would have required an extensive sectioning process, resulting in customer outages. Thanks to the early warning, both downtime and disturbances for customers were avoided.

We have proactively been able to resolve several faults, and your system has been the key every time.
