Men varf\u00f6r \u00e4r det s\u00e5, egentligen? F\u00f6rklaringen ligger i bristen av sv\u00e4ngmassa i systemet.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dlab-teal-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-998292e933d038988dc08b07b76345fc\">Vikten av elektrisk frekvensbalans i elkraftsystemet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En grundl\u00e4ggande f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttning f\u00f6r att v\u00e5rt elkraftsystem ska fungera \u00e4r att producerad effekt \u00e5 ena sidan och f\u00f6rbrukad effekt \u00e5 andra sidan alltid \u00e4r i balans. Ett m\u00e5tt p\u00e5 detta \u00e4r systemets elektriska frekvens. I Sverige, och i stora delar av v\u00e4rlden, har vi en nominell frekvens p\u00e5 50 Hz. Om produktionen momentant \u00e4r st\u00f6rre \u00e4n f\u00f6rbrukningen \u00f6kar systemets frekvens, och vice versa. Mindre variationer i frekvensen sker regelbundet i eln\u00e4tet till f\u00f6ljd av varierande lastf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden samt planerad till- och fr\u00e5nkopplingar av produktion, och regleras i normala fall automatiskt av b\u00e5de producerande synkronmaskiner (exempelvis turbiner i vattenkraftverk) och f\u00f6rbrukande synkronmaskiner p\u00e5 n\u00e4tet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dlab-teal-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-47d4e041b8ad82d1b7db4b43df68af9a\">Sv\u00e4ngmassans roll i elkraftsystemet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 48%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Synkronmaskiner i drift (i rotation) besitter n\u00e4mligen n\u00e5got som kallas sv\u00e4ngmassa, vilket lite f\u00f6renklat \u00e4r ett m\u00e5tt p\u00e5 hur mycket rotationsenergi som finns lagrat i maskinen. Mer specifikt \u00e4r det ett m\u00e5tt p\u00e5 det vridmoment som kr\u00e4vs f\u00f6r att f\u00f6r\u00e4ndra varvtalet en given m\u00e4ngd per tidsenhet (kallat tr\u00f6ghetsmoment). Vid sjunkande varvtal avges energi, och vid stigande varvtal upptas energi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Varvtalet p\u00e5 synkronmaskiner som \u00e4r direkt anslutna till n\u00e4tet \u00e4r direkt beroende av eln\u00e4tets frekvens. Vid exempelvis ett pl\u00f6tsligt bortfall av en st\u00f6rre del produktion i eln\u00e4tet kommer systemfrekvensen att sjunka, vilket g\u00f6r att synkronmaskinernas varvtal sjunker. Detta frig\u00f6r i sin tur energi vilket hj\u00e4lper till att reglera upp systemfrekvensen igen. Traditionellt har st\u00f6rre delen av v\u00e5r elproduktion kommit fr\u00e5n k\u00e4rn- och vattenkraft, d\u00e4r vattenkraften i synnerhet st\u00e5tt f\u00f6r reglerkraften i systemet. I takt med att vind- och solkraft st\u00e5r f\u00f6r en allt st\u00f6rre del av v\u00e5r elproduktion minskar dock v\u00e5rt systems sv\u00e4ngmassa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p style=\"padding-right:0;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">De flesta vindkraftverk best\u00e5r n\u00e4mligen av asynkronmaskiner vars varvtal inte p\u00e5verkas av systemets frekvens, och solcellsanl\u00e4ggningar saknar sv\u00e4ngmassa helt och h\u00e5llet. Dessutom blir det vanligare \u00e4ven p\u00e5 f\u00f6rbrukarsidan att man anv\u00e4nder omriktare och asynkronmaskiner som motorer \u2013 med f\u00f6rdelen att ett styrbart varvtal och d\u00e4rmed h\u00f6gre verkningsgrad erh\u00e5lls, men utan att bidra med n\u00e5gon sv\u00e4ngmassa till n\u00e4tet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dlab-teal-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1baa417749a881616625b4e7450f61c1\">Behovet av frekvensreglering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I denna situation, med mindre sv\u00e4ngmassa i systemet, blir det d\u00e4rf\u00f6r allt viktigare att ha koll p\u00e5 frekvensen. Mindre frekvensvariationer kan hanteras av systemets synkronmaskiner, men st\u00f6rre st\u00f6rningar i eln\u00e4tet och stora avvikelser fr\u00e5n nominell frekvens d\u00e4r systemets sv\u00e4ngmassa inte r\u00e4cker till f\u00f6r reglering kan dock vara kostsamt. Start av reservkraft kan beh\u00f6vas, och i allvarligare fall \u00e4ven lastfr\u00e5nkoppling av st\u00f6rre f\u00f6rbrukare. Stor avvikande frekvens \u00e4r \u00e4ven direkt skadligt f\u00f6r mycket av den elektriska utrustning som finns p\u00e5 b\u00e5de produktions- och f\u00f6rbrukarsidan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dlab-teal-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2c9e452d1b141731b5088a8da728552e\">Framtida l\u00f6sningar f\u00f6r effektbalans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Genom att kontinuerligt \u00f6vervaka eln\u00e4tets frekvensavvikelser kan man f\u00e5 en god uppfattning av hur mycket sv\u00e4ngmassa som eventuellt saknas och i god tid se indikationer p\u00e5 om \u00e5tg\u00e4rder beh\u00f6ver vidtas. H\u00e4r beh\u00f6ver distributions\u00e4gare och produktions\u00e4gare samarbeta f\u00f6r att tillsammans hantera avvikelser. Exempelvis skulle inf\u00f6rande av batterienergilager p\u00e5 n\u00e4tet kunna vara m\u00f6jlig \u00e5tg\u00e4rd, som via omriktare hade kunnat bidra med artificiell sv\u00e4ngmassa vid obalans.
