Condition based maintenance
One consequence of the energy transition involves an increased number of distributed energy resources connected to the distribution grid. Inevitably, this will lead to a more unpredictable and stochastic wear and tear of assets, e.g. equipment inside the primary substation, and asset managers must ensure an improved control capability. Condition-based maintenance is one step towards a more intelligent maintenance process, and in the dInsight Analytics Platform provided by dLab the application dState provides a possibility for DSOs to take the first needed steps. In 2020, dLab carried out a research project called TUFF (Tillståndsbaserat Underhåll för Fördelningsstation) together with one of the top DSOs in Sweden. The research project resulted in the application dState, and the results from the research can be found here (in Swedish) at energiforsk.se – tillstandsbaserat-underhall-for-fordelningsstationer and energi.se – forebyggande-underhall-kan-hjalpa-elnatsforetagen.
